Today, there are 3 types of pearls: natural, cultured and imitations. How can we distinct them, what is a Tahitian cultured pearl, why are some of them black and others white or pink?
How can we identify treated pearls and how do we define the quality of a pearl, according to size, shape, nacre thickness, surface, lustre and colour? What's its value?
